Markos Papoutsakis is a visual artist living in Athens. He started as a self-taught painter and later studied Painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts and Informatics at the University of West Attica. At the same time, he has participated in a scenography and a digital art workshop. He has collaborated with theater directors and stage designers and has created drawings for the book of the historian Kyriaki Papathanasopoulou
Refugee settlement in Nikea, Associations - Identities - Memory. In recent years he has participated in group exhibitions and teaches visual arts, painting and freehand drawing.
